증상

2007 Toyota Corolla에서 주행 중(천천히라도) 마찰음이 들리고, 속도가 증가하면 회전하는 부품(타이어 등)이 특정 지점에서 무언가와 접촉하는 듯한 진동 발생. 4월경 날씨가따뜻해질 때부터 시작됨. 프론트 브레이크 패드 교체 필요했음. 드라이버측 패드 제거 시 패드 한쪽이 다른 쪽보다 더 마모된 불균등 마모 현상 발견.

처리 내용

여러 가지 원인 가능. 1) 프론트 브레이크 분해 후 사이드 핀 윤활 시 캘리퍼 피스톤이 정상적으로 밀려 들어가는지 확인했는지 확인. 2) 브레이크 블리딩 실시 여부 확인. 호스/라인 손상으로 브레이크 페달을 밟지 않은 상태에서도 압력이 유지될 수 있음. 3) 맥동감이 시트에서 느껴지면 리어 브레이크, 페달에서 느껴지면 프론트 브레이크 문제. 4) 패드 교체 시 로터를 함께 교체하지 않았다면 문제 발생 가능 - 브레이크 패드는 새로운 로터 표면에 적응되어야 하므로, 로터를 선반에서 가공하지 않았다면 또 다른 문제 발생 가능. 5) 휠 베어링 문제 판단: 시속 50km에서 창문과 라디오를 끄고 좌우로 가볍게 핸들링하며 음성 차이가 있는지 청음 테스트 실시.
