증상
1993 Jeep Wrangler, 200,000마일. 시동은 보통 잘 걸리지만 간헐적으로 연료 범람 발생. 시동 시 악셀을 끝까지 밟아야 시동이 걸림. 정지 상태에서 가속하거나 기어 변경 시 가벼운 악셀 조작에서 엔진 스톨 발생 후 항상 범람됨. 배터리는 충분하지만 언제 시동 불능 상태가 될지 모름. 2월 뉴햄프셔 지역 20-40°F 날씨에서 증상 심화 의심. 벨트 소음 발생.
처리 내용
워터펌프 고장이 원인. Watson Automotive(버몬트주 Thetford)의 Jim이 워터펌프 교체($400)로 해결. 워터펌프에서 냉각수 누수로 벨트 소음 발생했고, 냉각수 부족으로 엔진 일부 과열되어 온도 센서가 외부 저온으로 인식하고 연료-공기 혼합비를 너무 진하게 설정(공기 부족)하여 범람 및 스톨 유발. 교체 후 스톨/범람 증상 소멸. 자동차 컴퓨터 시스템으로 인해 정비사의 진단 난이도 증가.

Useful update and great you're enjoying itMany will tell you to get the gearbox serviced, my zf8 is on easy motorway 160k and not bothered, and the car will soon depart so I don't care My sos battery went at 5 yrs so to save a trip to the garage and an annoying warning I'd get that done, tpms sensors last 5-7 years in my experience so could be good preventative measure

Well the AMG went and the Shark 6 has arrived. It was a better choice for me to be honest, with wanting to go into the dunes (see later on in the post how that went, rookie error) and for putting the kids bikes in etc etc - The long warranty and at the price they are it was a no brainer.
