An early Q7, brave man!Good luck, though it does actually look pretty tidy.

A week of use and thankfully Mrs89 has bonded nicely with the Q7...with any new car i buy, it's a ritual that it has to have new number plates to be truly ours...ordered and arrived, fitting today.I don't know about others but i've noticed in recent times that the quality of number plates has changed, for the worse (obviously). The last plates i bought for my S5 and the A4 were a flimsy ABS type plastic, not what i wanted or expected. I prefer the Perspex, with the vinyl applied to the rear. I found a company which actually supplied these (i found them when i ordered plates for the son's A3)So this is what arrived (and a set for my S5 obviously at that didn't want to feel left out, we have to keep the Machine Gods happy don't we...!!!)what else arrived in the week?tyresa set of Accelera All Seasons, the reviews looked good and i want traction and longevity, especially in the colder months.they take up a lot of roomthey are without question the biggest tyres i've ever bought for a vehicle i own....i've ordered paint supplies to refinish the wheels as i'm a tight wad and can't bring myself to pay for them to be done by someone else (i may live to regret that decision), thankfully i have free access to sanding supplies at work, so that reduces the cost significantly, i could have ordered paint through that also but i didn't want to take advantage.on the wheel bolts, all the plastic covers are missing so....new nut covers...there's a couple of stone chips which need sortingone area above the windscreen has been left to fester, so that'll need an attack of Bilt Hamber Deox firstand paint supplies arrived to sort the drivers door mirror capthat'll be a next weekend job (weather permitting) SWMBO will be off to work, she can go in the S5 so i can do stuff to the Q7.I'm happy to report that everything is working and running as it should, no nasty surprises have arisen.It was quite funny last night over dinner, i was talking turbos and upgrades, now normally when i start thi
