Classic FM listener, but the DAB rsdio will only work at home in the utility room!It is stored under favourites in 'er indoors car, but she sits for ages...with the engine running...trying to re-tune to the jump up and down stuff that she prefers the next time she uses the 'orrible little thing.( it ran 1662 miles between it's last two MoT's)My MGB has a 'period' radio/cassete that, oddly, switches on/off via it's electric ariel and can just about manage Classic FM.The camper has the manufacturer's supplied DAB/FM radio and can do something strange called streaming via a USB thingy, but for wh

Depending on which car I’m using I sometimes go for CDs still too. I have been known to move into the modern world with an iPod connection as well though! Dapster said: Radio 4 on DAB for me most of the time. I stream the cricket, football or F1 via the BBC sports app, or if I'm on a long journey I cue up a pod cast or some Radio 4 comedy. Incidentally I was browsing an old Merc price list. Back in 1990, my dad ordered a new W124 with a mid range Blaupunkt radio/cassette - the absolute car hi fi holy grail at the time was the Becker Mexico single disk CD player - I tried to twist dad's arm into getting that before he pointed out that it cost more than my mum's second hand Golf!That was in 1991 - inflation adjusted to £7,600 todayA Becker Mexico and a pair of Recaro CSEs is peak late 80s car specification for me! Although I was also a big fan of the Blaupunkt Woodstock/Memphis too, and had one in a car about 15 years ago - think it was my old E30 318iS
