증상

2003 혼다 시빅 쿠페(EX)에서 큰 삐익거리는 소리 발생. 운전 시작 후 2~3분 정도 경과 후 시작되며, 엔진에서 나오는 것으로 보임. 15~30초 정도 지속되다가 갑자기 멈춤.

처리 내용

큰 소리, 삐익거리는 음, 엔진 이 세 가지 증상이 함께 나타나면 뭔가 잘못된 것. 당장 확인하고 진단해야 함. 액세서리 드라이브 벨트(auxiliary belt)를 교체한 적이 없다면 먼저 확인할 것. 동시에 소음의 원인을 정확히 파악해야 함. 원인은 벨트, 아이들러/텐셔너 풀리, 에어컨 풀리, 기타 액세서리 등일 수 있음. 대부분의 경우 저절로 해결되지 않으며 악화될 가능성이 높음. 추가 손상 발생, 비용 증가, 또는 도중에 고장날 수 있으므로 즉시 점검할 것. 조기에 발견한 것이 다행이므로 더 큰 문제가 되기 전에 정비받을 것.
