증상
2016 혼다 어코드 스포츠, 주행거리 7,000마일. 후진 시 응급 브레이크가 걸린 것처럼 엔진이 꺼짐. 주행 중 뭔가 뒤로 당기는 느낌. 액셀에서 발을 떼면 브레이크를 밟기도 전에 급격히 감속됨. 응급 브레이크를 당겨도 자석이 아래에 있는 것처럼 바로 떨어짐. 혼다에서 브레이크 캘리퍼가 먼지와 이물질로 가득 찼다고 하며 교체 제안.
처리 내용
설명하신 증상은 후측 브레이크 캘리퍼(응급 브레이크가 후측 브레이크에 작동) 중 하나 또는 둘 다가 고착되었거나, 응급 브레이크가 완전히 해제되지 않는 것으로 보임. 주행 후 후측 휠 근처에 손을 대면 한쪽 또는 양쪽 휠이 매우 뜨거워질 것. 캘리퍼가 고착되면 브레이크가 끌려서 응급 브레이크가 힘을 받을 것이 없음. 따라서 핸들이 작동하지 않는 것처럼 느껴짐. 다른 가능성은 응급 브레이크 케이블에 물이 들어가 동파된 경우. 추운 지역에 거주하는가? 신차는 이런 문제가 없어야 하지만, 가끔 발생하므로 워런티가 있음. 딜러와 혼다에서 수리해주려는 것이 맞는 대처. 대부분의 사람들은 수백만 대 중 가끔 문제가 생기는 것을 이해함.
