증상
3주 전 중고차를 구입했는데 처음엔 정상이었습니다. 얼마 후 뒷 테일라이트가 켜져있는 것을 발견했고 브레이크 전구(brake bulb)를 교체했습니다. 그 후 기어를 높은 단으로 변속할 때 브레이크 페달이 딱딱해지고 차가 감속되는 현상이 발생했습니다. 차를 끄고 브레이크에서 냄새를 맡았을 때 약간의 연기가 났습니다. 집에 몇 시간 주차한 후에는 괜찮았습니다. 정비사가 브레이크가 뜨거워지면 계속 눌린 상태가 된다고 말했습니다.
처리 내용
이미 브레이크 캘리퍼, 호스, 마스터 실린더를 교체하셨다면 브레이크 액을 확인하고 에어를 빼셨을 것 같습니다. 다른 원인으로는 브레이크 페달 자체일 수 있습니다. 일부 Civic 모델에서는 브레이크 페달 메커니즘 전체를 교체할 수 있지만, 페달 내부의 스프링이 헐거워져서 페달이 완전히 복구되지 않는 경우를 봤습니다. 이를 '복귀 스프링(Return Spring)'이라고 부르기도 합니다. 다음에 확인해보실 부분이 바로 여기입니다. 저도 이것이 원인이었던 경우가 여러 번 있었으며, 결국 느슨해진 스프링을 교체하면 해결되었습니다.

For those who have followed my previous MX-5 thread, you may remember that I was considering purchasing a new car for some time. The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car.
