엔진 오일은 단순히 윤활뿐만 아니라 냉각, 세정 등 여러 역할을 수행합니다. 오일이 부족한 상태에서 엔진이 작동하면 다음과 같은 현상이 발생합니다: 1. 오일 순환 및 열화: - 제한된 양의 오일이 엔진 내에서 계속 순환하면서 온도가 상승 - 오일이 충분히 냉각될 시간이 없어 더욱 가열됨 - 냉각수(쿨란트)가 충분해도 오일 부족으로 인한 과열은 계속 진행 2. 오일 성능 저하: - 오일의 산화(oxidation) - 열적 분해(thermal degradation) - 압축 가열로 인한 손상 - 합성유도 더 오래 견디지만 결국 손상됨 결론: 엔진 오일 부족 상태로 운전하면 오일 수명이 급격히 단축되고 엔진 손상이 가속화되므로 반드시 오일량을 정상 범위로 유지해야 합니다.

Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
