2012 Jeep Compav compass I noticed a persistent squealing coming from thr front end of my car (I think the front left). It happens when I have my foot on the accelerator and over 40-45 mph. It stops when I let my foot off the gas, and only occurs under load. This alone would take me to the engine, but it responds to me turning the wheel. It gets louder when turning right and quieter when left. It also stops when I let off gas. My original thought was brakes, but I wanted to see if the community had an idea. Thanks!
Check front wheel bearings.

I need your opinion for a bud. About five months ago, I took my 2014 Jeep Cherokee to a mechanic I hadnโt used before (Iโm new to the area). They told me the transmission needed to be replaced. They said they sourced one from a parts dealer and that several other components had to be removed or replaced to install it. The total came to a little over $4,000. Since then, Iโve barely driven it due to health issues. Last week, I tried to go to church. When I shifted into reverse, it was very roughโjust like before the replacement. Then I put it in drive and it got stuck in neutral. I called the sh
2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 3.6L. I have what sounds like a grumbling or growling sound when I accelerate onto the highway. Itโs only presenting when I am heavy on the gas. Stops once I let off. Nothing when turning or stopping. And I put it up in the air and checked the bearings and they all seem solid. It idles quietly. Iโm at a bit of a lossโฆ
I have a 93 Jeep Cherokee, 6 cylinder, manual. It starts with no problems. After starting, I can turn the wheel left with no issues, but it is hard to turn the wheel right. I have to give it a good pull and then it will turn. It does not matter if I turn left first or turn right first. The first time I turn the wheel right at all, it sticks. After the first turn right, I don't have any more problems with it. Or, at least I thought not... My drive home is about 30 minutes on a straight highway. I don't turn the wheel more than lane changes during this time. The first time I really "turn" right

I am here with another question Civic (european version) sedan 2010 80k miles. I have a situation which s been going on for long time and it only gets worse. Couple of mechanics seen it and i trust my guy however no solution: While driving downhill if you apply brakes, the car doesnt really shake strong until you press the pedal stronger but there is loud noise and brakes dont perform well. If you press the pedal tougher it will get super loud. This sound is hard to explain but what i can tell you is: when washing machine comes close to the end rolling like mad cow, sometimes machine starts to

Hi everyone! I recently bought a 2016 Tacoma SR5 2.7L 4WD with 70k mi. At idle in D or R like at a red light (idles around 550rpm) the truck vibrates. Sometimes itโs bad and shakes my head and eyes and feels like someone is kicking my seat. It tends to get worse the longer I sit at a red light. Itโs worse with the brake pedal pressed, but happens a bit in drive with the parking brake on and not pushing the brake pedal. There are tons of threads about this on the tacoma forums and there doesnโt seem to be โoneโ solution for everyone. I have cleaned the MAF and throttle body without much or any

2004 Camry with about 160K miles (and I hope to drive it until the kids take away my keys in a few years). For the last month or two, sometimes when Iโm slowing gently almost to a stop, I get what I think is ABS activation: loudish fast pulsing sound (roughly five pulses/sec; almost a vibration) that I can feel in the brake pedal. Maybe more likely on a slow speed turn while braking (I do a half-K turn to back into my driveway). Is that ABS? Does this require fast attention? Would my mechanicโs code readers be able to find any useful codes? (Or do I just report the symptom and let him/them inv
