증상
1998 Mazda 626의 브레이크 플루이드가 검고 탁해 보임. 브레이크를 블리딩하여 교환할 계획 중. 워크숍 서비스 매뉴얼에는 'SAE J1703, FMVSS 116 DOT-3 또는 DOT 4'라고 명시되어 있음. 현재 플루이드 종류를 알 수 없는 상태에서 모든 브레이크를 블리딩할 경우, 원래 들어있던 것을 무시하고 원하는 것을 선택해도 되는지 궁금함.
처리 내용
DOT 3과 DOT 4는 혼합 가능하므로 둘 중 어느 것을 사용해도 됨. 다만 DOT 5는 절대로 사용하면 안 됨 - DOT 5는 완전히 다른 제품이며 DOT 3이나 DOT 4와 혼합 불가능함.
