증상
2008 혼다 시빅이 브레이크 교환 후 시동이 걸리지 않음. 트렁크를 열어두고 도어를 약간 열어서 실내등이 켜진 상태였음. 시동을 걸려고 할 때마다 크랭킹이 약해져서 배터리 방전으로 보임. 2002 뷰익 센추리로 점프 스타트 시도. 센추리의 배터리에는 양극/음극 표시가 명확하지 않았음 (먼지로 가려진 미세한 윤곽 표시만 있었음)
처리 내용
두 개의 전하량이 다른 배터리를 직렬로 회로에 연결하면 더 강한 배터리가 약한 배터리를 충전함. 본인이 한 것은 두 배터리 사이에 단락을 만든 것과 같음. 거의 모든 것을 녹일 뻔했지만, 약한 배터리에 어느 정도 충전은 되었음. 다만 안전한 방법은 아님. 향후 배터리 극성(빨강=양극, 검정=음극)을 확인 후 점프 스타트 수행할 것

For those who have followed my previous MX-5 thread, you may remember that I was considering purchasing a new car for some time. The arrival of my son hadn't forced my hand per-se (we have another family car), but with the MX-5 being a two-seater, it's become such a lonely car. Useful update and great you're enjoying itMany will tell you to get the gearbox serviced, my zf8 is on easy motorway 160k and not bothered, and the car will soon depart so I don't care My sos battery went at 5 yrs so to save a trip to the garage and an annoying warning I'd get that done, tpms sensors last 5-7 years in my experience so could be good preventative measure

Well the AMG went and the Shark 6 has arrived. It was a better choice for me to be honest, with wanting to go into the dunes (see later on in the post how that went, rookie error) and for putting the kids bikes in etc etc - The long warranty and at the price they are it was a no brainer.
