증상
신형 밴의 OEM 스타트 배터리(70AH, 120RC)로 12v 냉동고(소비전류 약 3A)를 6시간 운영할 경우 배터리 수명과 시동 가능성에 대한 우려. 배터리가 딥사이클용이 아닌데 안전한 방전량과 3년 이상의 배터리 수명 유지 가능 여부 확인 필요.
처리 내용
엔진 꺼진 후 전압 측정 전에 헤드라이트를 2분간 켜서 배터리 표면 충전(surface charge)을 제거하십시오. 충전 직후 12.7V는 플레이트의 미세한 기포로 인한 phantom voltage일 수 있습니다. 표면 충전이 제거된 완전 충전 배터리는 12.7~12.8V를 나타내야 합니다. 6시간 냉동고 운영이 배터리에 손상을 주는지 정확히 예측하기 어렵습니다. 자동차 배터리는 일반적으로 딥사이클용으로 설계되지 않았습니다. 12.0V 이하로 내려가면 확실히 손상됩니다. 12.0V 이하에서의 장시간 방치는 황산화(sulphation)와 화학 물질 이동을 유발하며 복구 불가능합니다. 약 8V 이하로 내려가면 심각한 손상이 발생합니다. 즉시 재충전으로 대부분 완화할 수 있습니다만, 12V 이하 상태의 장시간 방치는 피하십시오.

Useful update and great you're enjoying itMany will tell you to get the gearbox serviced, my zf8 is on easy motorway 160k and not bothered, and the car will soon depart so I don't care My sos battery went at 5 yrs so to save a trip to the garage and an annoying warning I'd get that done, tpms sensors last 5-7 years in my experience so could be good preventative measure

Well the AMG went and the Shark 6 has arrived. It was a better choice for me to be honest, with wanting to go into the dunes (see later on in the post how that went, rookie error) and for putting the kids bikes in etc etc - The long warranty and at the price they are it was a no brainer.
