I can’t get over the styling… yet.I will agree with an earlier post though, my entire adult life, I have disliked the styling of the new bmw compared to the outgoing model. The exceptions being the original 4 series, and f12 6 series. I can’t think of another make of car where the styling beds in over time quite as well as BMW. When this was launched i hated it, truely thought it was one of the ugliest cars i had ever seen. Now its just really, really ugly. I wonder if the styling will soften on me to “ it’s alright” over the next few years. Having said that, I still find the IX pretty repuls
Bill-eww58 said: Hell that's ugly! BMW have not made a decent looking car for years, but clearly customers buy the BMW badge not the appearance. If it looked good and cost less it might outsell a Jaecoo.I think as a general rule, most BMW's have been ugly for years for me. I'll always remember how bland/ugly/totally forgettable to look at the 2006 E90 330d that we had back in 2006 was for example(especially after the pretty decent looking E46 3 series too). The positive to that(for me anyway), is that BMW's tend to drive well though, so you generally take a blind eye to the way they look I think. A BMW will never outsell a Jaecoo though I don't think(regardless of looks) because they're really good at aiming their cars at the cheaper end of the market in comparison. So if you're in the market for a brand new car for £30k for example, then you're more than likely going to head to Jaecoo's door nowadays I reckon.

Kudos to the original owner.

Transverse engine, front wheel drive, rubber cone suspension? We want our inline, rear drive, leaf sprung that we're used to.It's just gopping. It's taken the ugly bits from the current one (particularly the F&R lights) and made them even worse. Shame, as everything up to and including the F30 looked great. Even the Bangle ones were decent-looking.If you want a good-looking Bimmer the last one is the G30 5 Se

This car was sold all over the world in different specifications that's the only difference. People seem to think JDM is for any car from Japan which it isn't.You're entirely incorrect here. JDM can be applied to any car car destined for the Japanese domestic market.Yes, people incorrectly say 'JDM' when it's a Civic originally sold in Peterborough, but this is a Japanese only model originally sold domestically in Japan.

I appreciate that this isn t a very Pistonheads kind of vehicle but I thought it might be of a little bit of interest to some. Despite the love I had for my Fiat Panda 4x4 Cross winter car, I ve always really hankered after one of the latest Suzuki Jimny s but never actually did it whilst they were officially available in the UK. However, I recently got the chance to pick up a brand new import and decided to go for it.The car is exactly as it left the factory but I did get the dealer to upgrade the tyres for me as I d read some pretty poor (snow) reviews about the Dunlop Grand Trek tyres that

My A tech who is 55 years old had a cough one day and medically retired the next. He has a particularly nasty cancer. I'm just lost what to do. He's not only a good employee but a good friend. Been with me 8 years. I have always been lucky with finding techs...
