증상
2009 포드 머스탱에서 휘발유를 주입할 때마다 거의 매 갤런마다 주유기 노즐이 탱크가 가득 찬 것처럼 자동으로 튕겨 나간다. 노즐을 누르고 있어도 계속 튕겨 나가서 주유 시간이 매우 오래 걸린다.
처리 내용
정상 작동하는 연료 탱크와 연료 공급 시스템에서는 주유기 노즐이 합리적인 속도로 연료를 주입한다. 그러나 주유기 노즐은 탱크에서 올라오는 역압(백프레셔)을 감지하면 자동으로 차단되도록 설계되어 있다. 현재 증상은 탱크에서 과도한 역압이 발생하고 있기 때문이다. 과도한 역압은 다음 중 하나의 고장으로 인해 발생한다: 주입구 파이프(필러 파이프)의 물리적 막힘, 필러 파이프의 부분적 손상/압착, 또는 증발 배출 제어 시스템(호스, 일방향 밸브 등)의 고장. 시스템을 세밀하게 검사하고 정상 작동하는 차량과 비교 검토해야 한다. 또한 OBD2 코드를 스캔하면 고장 원인에 대한 단서를 얻을 수 있다. 대부분의 자동차 부품점에서는 무료로 코드 리더를 연결하여 진단 코드를 읽어준다.
