증상
Mazda 323 2005 모델에서 시동이 어려움. 배터리 충전 지시계가 검은색(방전)을 표시. 양극 단자 주변에 흰색 분말 같은 물질(부식)과 배터리액 누수 발생. AC Delco 무보수 배터리 사용 중, 구매 후 1년 2개월 경과.
처리 내용
양극 단자의 부식이 시동 곤란의 원인으로 판단됨. 배터리 단자를 청소한 후 저전류 배터리 충전기를 연결하여 수 시간 충전. 충전 후에도 정상 전압(완전 충전 시 약 13V DC 이상)에 도달하지 않으면 배터리 로드 테스트 실시. 충전 시스템의 다른 부분도 검사하여 연결 상태가 양호하고 부식이 없는지 확인 필요. 배터리는 구매 후 1년 2개월이므로 대부분 보증 기간 내 교체 가능. 정상 충전 시 엔진 가동 중 약 14.1V DC 이상, 최소 13V DC 이상 유지되어야 함.

Yesterday was a lovely sunny day so in order to save money and take the little 4 month old Mazda for a spin, I decided to return my wrong prescription glasses to the factory in Amersham by hand. Oh how I now regret that Funny thing is I'm normally naughty in the 2 seater but I didn't go crazy on that bit of the M3 from Sunbury to the M25 junction. Enjoyed sitting at the limit and then the 60mph limits, followed by the 40mph limits. A mile from the turning west

Useful update and great you're enjoying itMany will tell you to get the gearbox serviced, my zf8 is on easy motorway 160k and not bothered, and the car will soon depart so I don't care My sos battery went at 5 yrs so to save a trip to the garage and an annoying warning I'd get that done, tpms sensors last 5-7 years in my experience so could be good preventative measure

Well the AMG went and the Shark 6 has arrived. It was a better choice for me to be honest, with wanting to go into the dunes (see later on in the post how that went, rookie error) and for putting the kids bikes in etc etc - The long warranty and at the price they are it was a no brainer.
