I am a total enthusiast. I drew the line at working in the Motor trade though. Many didn't. I think if you are doing it professionally everyday you might be more of an enthusiast than me.I am the guy who gave up his life to do a 2 year full time C@G in cars years ago.I dont just talk about them and drive them, I weld them, paint them, rebuild them do car shows you name it. I have a Cellet jig with attachments, an engineering workshop I built and have collected lots of tools over the years that I use regularly.I love driving too, I do track days Shelsey Walsh, Goodwood,Nürburgring. I take groups of friends too. I love it all. These are just some of the projects I have completed/owned. My friends accept me for being unusual in there circles. Most couldn't change a plug. I am well used to that now.Its the way I have always been as far as I can remember. Cars and Bikes.I think the future of collectors cars will be good too.But for day to day driving, why do I want to pay £50 in petrol for a a boring trip when my Tesla does for £3?Why do I want to listen to the drone of an exhaust on the motorway at 75 mph for 3 hours, even if it is a V8 or a V12?Why do I want to give Mercedes Benz £600 a year for an oil change for basically keeping their product on the road?If your annual mileage is next to nothing drive anything you want, who cares? For the day to day journeys, its all a rip off and its as clear as daylight to me having driven electric cars for 11 years. In my mind, both can exist side by side. I still want to keep my old cars for special occasions. and because I am an engineer who enjoys playing with them.As far as the old Model S goes, I think they are a very good looking car and a good second hand purchase. The last Paids were very well developed, were very expensive and look absolutely superb. They are also very rare, I saw one on the motorway in France this summer, that's it.I would definitely want one for the collection if I had a few spare quid in the car chest.

However, quickly arrive behind a snail-moving vehicle. Country lane, but quite wide and easy to make progress. Except we have the brake lights in front sending out Morse Code signals; applies them for almost everything (or imagined). Next, traffic lights, stops, and then turns left, no signal, and snail acceleration; we've still got the Morse Code signals going. We proceed like this, at about half the speed the road is capable of, for about
Hope this is in the right place. I couldn't see another location that fitted this tbh. Hello All,Project here with, well, my project. I know a lot of you like a build thread so I'm bringing you one with a slight difference. It's much bigger than you will be used to. And not because I'm trying to push a Merlin engine into a Lamborghini SV. It's because it weighs 12 tons, has four wheel drive and locking diffs and will eventually go around the world (hopefully). Sadly it will only 56mph, but 15mpg to the gallon it won't feel far off the usual pistonhead fill up experience The idea is to take a m

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
