Is the 60 year old Toyota Corolla the same as the 2026 Toyota Corolla? You're wrong about the roof skin. You're being unnecessarily pedantic. The MINI was essentially unchanged through production. Little nips and tucks here and there but essentially the same car. The Toyota Corolla was not even slightly similar between the oldest and newest. In fact during the same production period you could get different models of Corolla at the same time which were completely different from one another. Roof skins for the MINI changed once as far as I know. But as I said, you're being unnecessarily pedantic, serving no purpose. Earlier roof skins had no hole drilled for the antenna. So if you were willing to drill your own hole you could fit an early skin to late car. Same goes for most of the rest of it.
