증상
밴을 타이니홈으로 개조하면서 배기파이프의 복사열로 인해 그레이워터 탱크(플라스틱 또는 PVC)가 녹을 수 있을까 걱정됨. 탱크를 배기파이프로부터 얼마나 떨어뜨려야 하는지, 아니면 히트실드가 필요한지 궁금함.
처리 내용
플라스틱/PVC 종류에 따라 다르지만, 배기매니폴드 근처에 있으면 녹거나 손상될 가능성이 높습니다. 하지만 리어 머플러나 배기파이프에서 충분히(몇 인치) 떨어져 있으면 괜찮을 수 있습니다. 배기시스템 후단부는 매니폴드보다 온도가 낮기 때문입니다. 사용할 플라스틱 샘플을 해당 위치에 놓고 내열성을 테스트해보는 것이 좋습니다. 또한 배기파이프와 플라스틱 파이프 사이에 가벼운 철강/알루미늄 판과 브래킷을 설치하여 열이 가장 심한 부분을 차단할 수 있습니다. 배기시스템 복사열 방지용 클램프온 또는 랩온 배기열차단재를 사용할 수도 있습니다.
