증상
볼보 XC90 2.5T AWD의 순정 머플러 대체품을 찾고 있음. 같은 파워트레인을 사용하는 다른 볼보 차량들이 있지만 국내 머플러 샵에서 애프터마켓 머플러를 취급하지 않음. OEM 머플러 가격이 약 $800으로 비쌈.
처리 내용
배기 시스템의 모델별 특성은 머플러 자체보다는 배관과 차량 하부 장착 방식에 있음. 배관은 크기가 맞아야 하고 앞에서 뒤로 제대로 구부러져야 함. 머플러와 팁만 교체하려면 부품을 개별 구매해서 정비소에서 기존 부품을 제거하고 새것을 용접하는 방식으로 합리적인 비용에 할 수 있음. "캣백"(촉매 컨버터부터 팁까지 전체) 교체를 원하면 맞춤형 배관이 필요해 비용이 더 들 수 있음. 이 경우 성능 영향을 정확히 예측하기 어려운데, 단일 머플러는 OEM 머플러와 비교해 다른 모델 차량에서 다르게 작동할 수 있기 때문임.
