증상
2003 Volkswagen Jetta, 110,000마일에서 간헐적 시동 불가 증상 발생. 엔진은 회전하지만 시동이 걸리지 않음 (점화 케이블 불량 상황과 유사). 몇 개월 전 점화 케이블, 스파크 플러그, 점화 코일 교체함. 3번 수리 시도했으나 지속적인 해결책 없음. 정비소 진단 결과 간헐적 단락 코드 및 산소 센서 불량 발견. 산소 센서 교체했으나 2주 후 시동 불가 증상 재발생.
처리 내용
간헐적 문제는 문제가 실제로 발생할 때 기술자가 진단해야만 해결 가능함. 시동 액체(Starting Fluid)를 자동차에 항상 비치. 다음에 증상이 발생하면 누군가 크랭크할 때 흡기 포트에 시동 액체를 분사. 차가 시동되면 연료계통 문제, 시동 안 되면 연료계통 제외. 다음으로 시동 중 스파크 플러그 스파크 확인. 결과를 댓글로 작성하여 다음 진단 진행.

Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more.But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
