증상
브레이크 캘리퍼에 심한 녹이 슬어 있음. 에바포러스트(Evaporust)와 도장을 생각했으나, 피스톤과 보어는 매우 광택이 나는 표면으로 매끄러워야 하는데, 에바포러스트를 사용하면 피스톤 보어와 피스톤을 부식시켜 표면이 거칠어질 우려가 있음.
처리 내용
캘리퍼를 침지하는 것은 권장하지 않음. 캘리퍼를 조립된 상태로 유지한 채 민감한 부분을 마스킹한 후 미디어 블래스팅을 하고 도장하거나, POR-15 같은 녹 변환제(rust converter) 제품을 사용할 것.
