If you had an accident that required an inspection your insurer would probably say you've provided false information as when taking out the policy you accepted the details they pulled as being correct. If you've failed to correct them and accepted that as the truth they'd probably be well within their rights to cancel your insurance.^^^^ThisIf you know about it, you should get it corrected.Just not worth the risk if you've an accident.

I don't mean as a result of modification but actually been registered incorrectly upon first registration e.g. a BMW M3 registered as a 325i or something. At what point does it become a problem? I can imagine after an accident the insurer might say its come back as having a different spec to what they thought the vehicle was but that's nobody's fault as such and its not fraud.I received the V5 when I built and registered my lit car, and it was registered (incorrectly) as a 2 -seater. This was in the days of the local DVLA office, and I took the V5 with me and told them. "You must have filled the form incorrectly". I explained I hadn't, and one of their inspectors had even seen the car whilst checking the engine and chassis numbers. Don't get me started on the 3 months to get a registration number and them keep saying "but there's less than a month on the cover note each month after sitting on the paperwork again and again.

Car ended up with bore score following suspected injector failure so I punted it on for a small loss to someone who will rebuild the engine. With the news that I will be taking my first step onto the property ladder, I decided I had to be slightly more sensible with what came next, as it will likely have to be a daily driver throughout this winter and into next year whilst I get my finances sorted. I also decided I fancied another convertible, after selling an MG TF last year.Clearly I haven’t learnt the les

Said let me try, driver got out I got in and I looked in the back and every seat was full o

He said he had already called emergency services and a mate who were all en route

It s almost like being self insured!Yeah I guess after 3 decades of low premiums due to picking high excesses, my chickens finally came home to roost The repair garage is knocking £200 off as I've brought them a bit of lucrative business But thanks to global supply issues, especially the headlamp, it could be a couple of months until I get the car back.I have read this on various previous threads where a crash has the owner's car off the road for ages. Pretty ridiculous situation really.I guess that I'l
