증상
머플러 교체 후 클램프로 연결한 쿠플러 파이프가 타이트하게 조여지면서 버클링(굽어짐)이 발생했고, 배기 가스 누출이 생겼습니다. 기존 배기 파이프에 정확히 맞는 같은 지름의 쿠플러를 찾을 수 없어서 한쪽 끝이 약간 더 큰 쿠플러를 사용했는데, 클램프를 조이면서 쿠플러가 휘어져 틈이 생겼습니다.
처리 내용
자동차 부품점에서 파이프 익스팬더(pipe expander)를 대여할 수 있습니다. 파이프를 분리한 후 익스팬더를 사용하여 파이프 지름을 조정하세요. 과도하게 확장하여 파이프가 찢어지지 않도록 주의하세요.
