Which is exactly what the original Euro x changes were designed to prevent. You have chosen to circumvent those requirements, so i guess you may have a problem. Personally id wait it out and see if it passes whatever comes. Did you change the cats as well? Most aftermarket cats wont come close to cleaning up the exhaust compared to an OE cat.I guess worse case there would be the option to take back to a standard spec or

The most basic thing they might do is to tighten the MOT limits for newer cars to what they should reasonably have achieved out of the factory. I don t think that would be a problem for a contemporary engine swap with cats. Yes, it will depend on how flexible the tester is allowed to be.I m guessing the reg and the chassis VIN are the same as when new, just a different engine number logged on the V5 for the V6.But how will any electronic box filling govt system the tester may have to log into account for that? The engine number will be from a car (reg and VIN) that doesn t exist any more and I m sure a 3.0V6 will be dirtier than the from new 1.8, and it will be modified from installation in the donor. So unless you are doing a like for like engine swap for a failed engine, or the car is pre 2001 it could be a problem. You are going in way to deep. Nobody is going to check all that stuff. It will either meet the revised emmisions test, or it wont. No one will care what engine is fitted, so long as it passes the test. And as we dont know what exactly the test will be, its rather pointless discussing the finer detail.

Wouldn t feel too secure parking in a city.Good photos of the scenery - 911 going through a puddle! I had look back at the photos to see what you meant, I’d seen the pic but not noticed the puddle, I was far to interested in the Morgan peeping around behind the 911. A lovely looking thing, it would be my choice and I’ve always been a 911 fan.

It was fitted this week and overall sounds good but something isn't quite right and reading up tonight, hopefully, some adjustments will improve the situation! It certainly looks good! These "bypass" pipes (assuming they're not Helmholtz resonators) look like a Gundo hack type arrangement to increase noise levels. The whole system looks somewhat poorly conceived, overly complex in its Mk2 guise, and poorly executed, to th
