Another Spain trip, for the first time in this. I already had the Euro cover taken out in June for Normandy, though it's probably fairly useless as its value would not be sufficient to recover back to Blighty. Handier for a breakdown to a garage but that's about it.Sailing from Plymouth to Santander 7-8 September and then the return from Santander to Portsmouth, 20-21. I had an outline plan and broadly stuck to it. Thus it was Haro > Madrid > Potes > Santander.Leaving Plymouth (in hindsight I will probably pick Portsmouth next time as whilst it is a 2-night crossing against 1 night, it arrives in the morning and saves burning 3 hours of petrol). Also, Bilbao would have been nearer to Haro, but I didn't think of that at the time of booking as I didn't have a plan then.The campsite in Haro was very pleasant with a bar and restaurant at reasonable prices. I am not a fan of the beers, though. I stayed three nights.
