엔진이 켜진 상태에서 배터리를 분리하는 것은 매우 위험합니다. 배터리는 단순히 전기를 공급하는 것 이상의 역할을 합니다. AC 스파이크와 순간적인 전압 변동을 접지로 유도하는 역할도 합니다. 배터리를 회로에서 분리하면 이러한 스파이크와 전압 변동이 자동차의 모든 반도체 회로를 위협하게 됩니다. ECU, 속도 감응형 파워 스티어링, 메모리 시트, 크루즈 컨트롤, 심지어 자동차 스테레오까지 손상될 수 있습니다. 컴퓨터와 스테레오가 무사하더라도 대부분의 경우 배터리 분리로 인해 알터네이터의 다이오드가 소손되어 알터네이터 교체가 필요합니다. 배터리 분리가 전압 레귤레이터의 제어 전압 입력을 방해하면 알터네이터 전압이 과도하게 올라갈 수 있으며(수백 볼트에 이를 수 있음), 이는 모든 전자 부품을 태웁니다.

Useful update and great you're enjoying itMany will tell you to get the gearbox serviced, my zf8 is on easy motorway 160k and not bothered, and the car will soon depart so I don't care My sos battery went at 5 yrs so to save a trip to the garage and an annoying warning I'd get that done, tpms sensors last 5-7 years in my experience so could be good preventative measure

Well the AMG went and the Shark 6 has arrived. It was a better choice for me to be honest, with wanting to go into the dunes (see later on in the post how that went, rookie error) and for putting the kids bikes in etc etc - The long warranty and at the price they are it was a no brainer.
