증상
연료펌프가 전기식인 이유와 드라이브벨트 어셈블리의 일부가 아닌 이유를 이해하고 싶음. 연료펌프가 연료탱크 내부에 위치하는 이유를 궁금해함. 펌프가 탱크 외부에 위치해도 흡입 호스/라인이 탱크 바닥에 잠겨있으면 상관없을 것으로 생각함.
처리 내용
연료펌프의 위치는 펌프가 연료 액면 아래에 있을 때 더 잘 작동함. 펌프 방식에 따라 매우 다름. 일부는 탱크 내부, 일부는 외부(인라인)에 위치함. 연료 분사식 펌프의 경우 탱크 내부 설치가 표준인 주요 이유는 연료가 펌프를 냉각하여 일정한 압력 출력을 유지하고 수명을 연장하기 때문임. 캬뷰레터용 펌프는 여러 종류가 있지만 주로 탱크 외부에 위치하고 훨씬 낮은 압력으로 작동함 (연료분사식 펌프는 35-60psi 대비 14psi). 구식 연료펌프는 기계식으로 블록 측면에 장착됨. 벨트 구동 연료펌프도 있으며 주로 경주용 차량에 사용됨.

Seems good condition & obvious curio out of all the hatches of the time.Treat it like a mini exotic GT car rather than a Type R rival & I recckon it fits the brief.Price wise given the scarcity of these is about correct for the right enthusiast.
