배기 시스템에서 응축된 물이 어떻게 배출되는가?

머플러에 물이 많이 고여서 출렁인다면 헤드개스킷 손상 같은 엔진의 심각한 고장의 신호이며, 그 '물'은 실제로는 엔진의 부동액/물 혼합물이다. 그러나 배기관 끝에서 나오는 소량의 물방울에 관한 질문이라면, 이것은 정상적인 연소 부산물이다. 옥탄의 연소 화학식: C8H18 + 12.5O2 --> 8CO2 + 9H2O (좌에서 우로 각각 옥탄, 산소, 이산화탄소, 물이다. 실제 휘발유는 이처럼 단순하지 않으며 NOx를 포함한 다른 부산물들도 있지만, 이 원리를 설명하기에는 충분하다.) 배기가스가 뜨거우므로 물 부산물은 100°C(212°F) 이하로 냉각되는 지점까지 수증기 형태로 존재한다. 엔진이 따뜻해지면 수증기가 즉시 응축되지 않고 배출된다.

Oooh, that's a decent idea of using separate portage for BBB, M11rph. The Aston is back from it's service and all is well.
