2002 Ford Escape 3.0 XLT, 87,000마일. AC를 켜면 핸들에서 녹슨 문처럼 삐걱거리는 소음 발생. 간헐적으로 나타났다 사라짐. AC를 끄면 재현 불가능. 엔진베이 우측 전방에서 물 같은 액체가 상당히 흘러내림(응축수로 의심). AC 작동과 소음의 상관관계 있음.
처리 내용
AC 응축수가 에어컨 에바포레이터 코어에서 응축되어 흘러내리는 것은 완전히 정상입니다. AC 작동 시에만 이 현상이 발생하므로 serpentine belt 관련 문제일 가능성이 높습니다. 벨트 마모(게이지로 측정하기 어려움), tensioner pulley 불량, 또는 둘 다일 수 있습니다. 벨트가 마모될수록 슬립이 증가하여 액세서리에서 소음이 발생하고, AC와 파워 스티어링이 동시에 작동하면 부하가 증가하면서 소음이 커집니다. 먼저 serpentine belt를 교체하는 것을 추천합니다. 대부분의 경우 이것으로 해결될 것 같습니다. 그 다음은 tensioner pulley를 점검하세요. 심각한 문제는 아닐 것 같으며, 일반적인 유지보수 항목입니다.
