Paulster2의 말대로 솔레노이드일 가능성이 높습니다. 확인하려면 멀티미터를 사용하여 시동을 걸 때 솔레노이드 커넥터(스타터의 두 개 중 더 작은 것)의 전압을 측정하세요. 키를 돌리면 약 12V로 올라가야 하고, 키를 놓으면 0V로 돌아가야 합니다. 솔레노이드는 보통 스타터와 일체형이므로 전체 스타터를 교체하는 것이 일반적입니다. 다만 기존 제품을 재정비할 수 있는 경우도 있습니다. 구형 차량용 스타터를 취급하는 많은 업체에서 교환 방식으로 서비스를 제공하므로, 재정비된 제품을 받고 기존 제품을 그들에게 보내면 다음 고객을 위해 재정비합니다.
