증상
겨울철 극저온(-8°F/-22°C)에서 하룻밤을 지낸 2007 Toyota Prius가 시동이 걸리지 않았음. 보조 12V 배터리 점프스타트로 성공적으로 시동. 배터리는 원본으로 약 7년 경과. 진단 메뉴의 차량 신호 점검을 통한 배터리 상태 확인 결과 정상 범위 내.
처리 내용
Prius의 보조 배터리는 VRLA 배터리(납칼슘 배터리 또는 AGM 형식)입니다. 2007년형은 AGM을 사용합니다. 밀폐형 배터리로 액체가 없으며, 진동에 강하고 충전 시 가스 방출이 없어 실내에 안전하게 설치 가능합니다. 보조 배터리는 기존의 엔진 시동용이 아니라 전기 시스템과 고전압 배터리를 제어하는 제어 모듈에 전원을 공급합니다. 실제 가솔린 엔진 시동은 고전압(HV) 배터리를 사용합니다. 동영상의 진단 테스트만으로는 배터리 상태를 충분히 판단할 수 없습니다. 교체 전에 부품점에서 무료 배터리 테스트를 받으시기를 권장합니다. 현재까지 시동 불량이 재발하지 않았거나 부품점 테스트에서 정상이면 교체할 필요가 없습니다.

Useful update and great you're enjoying itMany will tell you to get the gearbox serviced, my zf8 is on easy motorway 160k and not bothered, and the car will soon depart so I don't care My sos battery went at 5 yrs so to save a trip to the garage and an annoying warning I'd get that done, tpms sensors last 5-7 years in my experience so could be good preventative measure

Well the AMG went and the Shark 6 has arrived. It was a better choice for me to be honest, with wanting to go into the dunes (see later on in the post how that went, rookie error) and for putting the kids bikes in etc etc - The long warranty and at the price they are it was a no brainer.
