It's an import, and that hammers insurance prices something stupid.Having owned various JDM cars, that's not my experience. Insurance is no different to a UK car.Daughter is just under 25 and looking to change her car. Has slightly fallen for the Nissan Cube.Insurance on import ones is around £700/year for her, UK ones (they sold them here for a couple of years or so) £400. The only difference is the shape of the bumpers were the number plate goes (and it'd probably be easier to source a JDM one these days). Most specialist insurers won't quote at all as she's under 25.My JDM Scoobie was very reasonable, but I'm a loooong way from my first car As a previous JDM owner (back in the early 2000's when the craze really took off) - I thought I'd just check what it would cost to insure an import again now...Quite the contrary to the above (granted, for a newer driver it might be a lot more).. however: MR2 Turbo just came back at £120 fully comp with only £50 Excess!!!...Thats by far & away cheaper than any of my current cars and probably alot more 'risky' too ...I'm going to have to find one now!Who quoted that price? The renewal on my UK Celica is £154.I just went through Compare the Merecats and a company called PBIS (peter best) came in at £120, then 'Performance Direct' came in second at £126, 'Motor-Vision' 3rd at £132... all three only had £50 Excess which surprised meExcuse the formatting - screen shot off my phone:Edited by Steamer on Wednesday 23 September 22:12 Excellent, thank you! PBIS came in at £130.17, and as I went through Topcashback I might get £18.75 back if they cough up. I wasn't aware that classic car insurers now appear on cashback sites.

As others have said.A. You won't lose your NCD & even if you did you would be surprised how little difference it would actually make, it is not like you get 60% off or similar. Been there twice.B. The great majority of decent "approved" repairers will ask the question (or you can obviously) whether you need a car for the time the car is in for repair. They generally charge either nothing or just ask that you replace the fuel you use. Been there twice also obviously.

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.
포르쉐 카이엔
A somewhat unbalanced duo which is acknowledged from the start in this head to head. I would never put these two on the same page and i found myself unpicking the Porsche rather than comparing it to the Morgan. Despite the indifferences the 911 wins out.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
