I'll strip that down on Sunday and see what's knackered, probably worth replacing it on both sides as if one has gone the other won't be far behind.Marvellous.Edited by GeniusOfLove on Wednesday 29th July 19:54

There was also a DB6 that sold for £80k odd but has rotten sills, and a couple of DB9s in various states of dilapidation. Amazing how many of the owners have them on ditchfinders and do things like change one damper at a time, I think buying a VH car is a real minefield because there are a lot of grotty owners out there who will pay for the stamp in the book to impress the next owner but otherwise run them like someone from the "Joys of running a shed" thread when it comes to actually maintaining them. The Virage is by all accounts a terrible car, and it's easy to focus on the parts sharing and what a lash up it is and scoff, but I must say that on sitting in it ready to laugh I found myself thinking "oh. I get it now.", it was a bit of an epiphany.I've always thought the fixation internet people have on a handful of switches from another car is asinine, and notably the same scorn is never applied to the various Ferraris that are full of poor quality Fiat switchgear. As you say it's even part of the charm now, and the borrowed switchgear always was high quality and decent to use.On a DB7 related note, I picked up a known good climate control panel to test in my car, it's cool enough now that an hour or two sat in the car knobbing about doesn't sound like a trip to hell on earth. I'm also hoping to attempt to extract the ATF through the dipstick/fill hole to see if that works.Edited by GeniusOfLove on Friday 21st August 09:43 If you ever get the chance, try a Virage 6.3.Everything thats right in a car My all time favourite car. Ever.

Where Maserati falls short is something like a suspension part on a Maserati 4200 that is nla.The availability or price of parts on a Maserati can quite rightly receive c

It was used in the Corolla GTi though.Yes I know it wasn't used in the Celica what I'm getting at is it would of upset the applecart. If it had a 4age in it. It would of been as quick, if not quicker than the Celica so why would anyone have spent double on buying a Celica every car has its place in a manufacturers line up. This was placed in the budget friendly coupe. Do you think putting the 1.6L 112bhp 4AGE engine in the Paseo would have made it quicker than the 2.0L 173bhp 3SGE engine mk6

I can't recall whether you've fitted lowering springs to the Corsa (or if the ecoFLEX model is fitted with them as standard), but aren't B8s for cars with lowering springs, whereas B6s are for standard springs?2. When various BMW guys on here fit Eibach lowering springs to their cars, they tend to fit B4S dampers as they've found B8s to be too firm.
