Loving the ST thread , being an old fart , 52 soon , just bought 2 months or so ago a 2016 in spirit blue low ish miles decent condition, what a fantastic car , it replaced a i20N which I had for 2 years which I enjoyed. I have definitely rediscovered modifying cars since I’ve bought the fiesta and already spent more than I should have on it, I’ve got it to probably around the stage 2 state of tune which seems enough for now , certainly feels quicker than the i20N ! And probably overall a slightly better drive than the Hyundai, I test drove a couple of mk8 fiesta st when I was looking 2 years

Got some new bolts coming for the front strut to hub as realised the coilovers have camber adjustment at the top so don t need the eccentric bolt between the hub and strut to adjust it.Will take a bit more out of the ride height, fit the shims and use it for a bit, then take it for an alignment. May have to cut the strut tops as then adjustment is obscured by the metal, but one step at a time.Impressed based on a quick drive, ride is better, has lost the nervousness at the rear. But will do those jobs and get the running issue sorted before driving it much. They have 30 notches of adjustment, gone for 15 at the front and 10 at the rear as a starting point.I am going to sound like a stuck record...but have the suspension adjusted from a specialist center using string and line kit. A place like suspension secrets or the like. They do a very thorough geo setup - they spent 2 full hours on my ST, and also adjusted the compression/rebound and ride heights to improve steering rake but without making the overall car too low as to bottom out on crests etc. From looking at your pic, the rear is lower than the front, but what you actually want is the other way round. My ST on properly setup KW V3's is sublime through the corners and so much better than the stock car and also coilovers that were not setup after initial installation. Yeah, will do, took it to ABP Motorsport in Crewe last t

So after you've added in the £20k worth of free childcare you're no eligible for you can add in another £2200pa in fuel savings. For the right person you can almost maths one of these to be virtually free. Sounds so wonderful yet it's still a hard sell TX.

It's a Hyundai, so I'd expect shoddy build quality really as you say. It's disappointing how much they charge for it really I think for what you get. Pony. Build quality on my I5n is fine. Apart from the tailgate (now fixed) not a single rattle or squeak, everything works, materials are good. Please advise you wide experience of Hyundai Ioniq5n and 6n so we can understand what you know about the buil

Performance EVs are not very popular, and those that want them probably already have them. The difference between the anti-EV people and the pro-EV people is that there are more of the anti-EV people, and they tend to post one anti-EV comment and leave it that, whereas the pro-EV people are relatively small in number, but a handful of them post unremitingly on the subject.I'm neither pro- nor anti-, but I find

Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more. But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. And only a handful remain. It's a car I've had a yearning to own and got outbid on one at auction many years ago. More recently I contacted a seller on FB, we agreed a price and then he blocked me...So I broke the first rule of car buying and bought one s

I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
