Love shooting brakes where the change doesn't detract from the original or adds something like the Z3 "clowns shoe"or this:but a thought, they've modified the " chassis"or monocoque, so i this ry would it have to go through IVA
NGK210 said: Holy fook, yes please. Actually prefer this to the original coupé And it s significantly better value compared to the £300k BL deathtrap currently on PH. I ll have mine with a Cayenne s V6 yeah, I know, but it s more reliable / less hassle compared to the V8 with its 6-speed manual and, if it ll fit, its 4WD gubbins, painted Marrone Metallizzato with a beige cabin, please. First check what your 100k is actually buying and then how much everything else is to get what you actually want. Paint, cabin not engine look to be included in the initial 100kWould hardly be surprising if an additional €100k were lost getting the desired car without the engine transplant. And as that Rangie will never sell for more than £150k at best as a used restomod and is maybe only listed as there is a loan against it being refinanced then the 944 is dearer but you'd be getting exactly what you wanted rather than what some random punter wanted a few years ago. If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more. But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. And only a handful remain. It's a car I've had a yearning to own and got outbid on one at auction many years ago. More recently I contacted a seller on FB, we agreed a price and then he blocked me...So I broke the first rule of car buying and bought one s

However, quickly arrive behind a snail-moving vehicle. Country lane, but quite wide and easy to make progress. Except we have the brake lights in front sending out Morse Code signals; applies them for almost everything (or imagined). Next, traffic lights, stops, and then turns left, no signal, and snail acceleration; we've still got the Morse Code signals going. We proceed like this, at about half the speed the road is capable of, for about

(Had something very similar just 30 minutes ago - row of parked cars my side, car in front waiting for oncoming traffic, but I hung back ~1.5 to 2 car lengths just to give me some wiggle room, sitting with my brake lights on and at least 2ft from the kerb. Dumbfk in a new Volvo comes steaming up past me before looking past the end of his nose and seeing that there's a car coming
