증상
고속도로에서 고속으로 감속할 때 브레이크에서 간헐적인 진동 발생. 브레이크 페달이 낮게 느껴짐. 정비소에서 확인한 결과 로터 커팅은 필요 없지만 브레이크 패드 교환 필요.
처리 내용
브레이크 진동은 로터 뒤틀림(워핑) 증상입니다. 고온의 브레이크가 찬물에 노출되면서 발생할 수 있습니다. 스티어링 휠이 흔들리면 프론트 로터, 흔들리지 않으면 리어 로터 문제입니다. 정비사가 로터를 커팅할 필요 없다고 한 것은 비정상적인 마모가 없거나 브레이크 패드로 인한 손상이 없다는 의미입니다. 정확한 진단을 위해서는 다이얼 게이지로 휠을 회전시키면서 로터 페이스의 런아웃을 측정해야 합니다. 로터는 커팅하거나 교체할 수 있으며, 많은 경우 교체 비용이 커팅 비용과 비슷합니다. 브레이크 페달이 낮은 문제는 별도 이슈로, 녹슨/고착된 캘리퍼 슬라이드나 리어 캘리퍼 내부 파킹브레이크 메커니즘 문제일 수 있습니다.
