증상
제너레이터(올터네이터)가 풀 부하(송풍기, 에어컨, 라이트 등) 상태에서 13.5V를 출력하고 있으나, 시가렛 라이터 포트의 전압은 송풍기 작동 시 11.6V까지 떨어짐. 송풍기 미작동 시에는 12.8~13.0V 범위. 자동차 배터리가 매년 방전되고 배터리 내부 수분이 계속 감소하는 현상 발생. 배터리 터미널에서 전압은 13.5V로 정상이지만, 배터리 터미널과 내부 배선 사이에 높은 저항이 있는 것으로 의심됨.
처리 내용
13.5V는 배터리 터미널에서도 낮은 수치임. 투-와이어 올터네이터(2선식)인 경우 올터네이터 출력 터미널에서는 훨씬 더 낮을 수 있음. 별도의 시그널 와이어가 있다면 투-와이어 방식이 아님. 가능하면 배터리 터미널의 전압을 1V 높여 14.5V로 조정할 것을 권장함. 이는 전압 레귤레이터 교체가 필요할 수 있음. 13.5V는 상온에서 24시간 연속 충전 시 배터리에 겨우 충분한 수준임. 엔진 시동 후 1시간 정도만 충전되는 사이클링 패턴이 있다면 13.5V는 너무 낮음. 결론적으로 문제는 전압이 너무 높은 것이 아니라 너무 낮다는 것임. 배터리는 더 많은 충전이 필요하지, 더 적은 충전이 필요한 것이 아님.

Useful update and great you're enjoying itMany will tell you to get the gearbox serviced, my zf8 is on easy motorway 160k and not bothered, and the car will soon depart so I don't care My sos battery went at 5 yrs so to save a trip to the garage and an annoying warning I'd get that done, tpms sensors last 5-7 years in my experience so could be good preventative measure

Well the AMG went and the Shark 6 has arrived. It was a better choice for me to be honest, with wanting to go into the dunes (see later on in the post how that went, rookie error) and for putting the kids bikes in etc etc - The long warranty and at the price they are it was a no brainer.
