I’m amazed Paul Rees has decided to bring the action! He apparently had no injuries, either visible, or reported at the time. He certainty looked fine, driving cars at FOS and being interviewed at the top of the hill. It’s also a relatively small sum, given the possible negative outcome. That Morgan up-ending caused terrible injuries to a national sporting hero, AND the end of TG. Why would you want to raise awareness of your involvement?

I’ve recently bought a Range Rover for the fourth time. I’d been trying hard to manage without one as my daily driver, but not helped by the excellent Stick Legs thread on here, I cracked and got another one.Quick photo:Potted version of my Land-Rover history. After growing up around them and liking them forever, I held out until the age of 43 before I got one in September 2017. A January 2004 L322 V8 petrol with a FSH and 167,000 miles bought for £4,500 from a dealer near Swindon. Following appropriate man maths it was bought instead of spending £3k on winter wheels and tyres for the E Class

Could somebody give me a little guidance and how this would work. Car A is on my driveway that I want to swap for car B which we will be meeting half way, car B is taxed and previous owner will cancel tax after we get back from the swap. Temp insurance will be used.Car A has no insurance or tax. Insurance as said I will just use temp cover. Do I just tax the car as normal and then cancel once I am home, shame to lose 35 quid just for a 40 minute drive.

I went out with a young lady who behaved exactly like that when I was 25. I had my own car and she had hers but it was my job to look after both! After having to avert a mechanical disaster one too many times I told her straight that she was on her own for her car and that if she was worried about anything she should take it to her local garage (which was run by a friend of hers). Only took 3 weeks before I got a call about her being stranded after something had gone pop under the bonnet and progress was no longer an option. The oil price is well down around $66 a barrel. And the £ is worth nearly $1.30 these are the two things that normally go agaisnt us but both are the right way.So why is the pump price still high?

Can’t think of a better looking car with 4 usable seats. Hopefully the exhaust note is improved and they offer some good deals to actually sell some more this time.

Maybe this is a silly question, but what is the technical definition of the "front" vs. the "rear" of the engine? On my vehicle, from the context of part names, the "front" is the side with the timing belt and the other belts, the alternator, compressor, p/s pump. The "rear" is the side with the flywheel, clutch, transmission, VTEC solenoid (it's a Honda). Relative to the vehicle itself the "front" is on the driver's side and the "rear" is on the passenger side. Which side of an arbitrary engine is the "front", in general? E.g. is it always the timing belt side? The side opposite the transmiss

Saw this posted by wjs1968 on the ‘cool classic car spotters thread’.It got me thinking…In theory, could you remove a plate like this onto another car?…and if so, what style of replacement reg would the car get?

Can’t think of a better looking car with 4 usable seats. Hopefully the exhaust note is improved and they offer some good deals to actually sell some more this time.
