Like many on this forum, I obviously have issues Car number 24 was my much loved F56 Mini JCW ( Readers cars thread). It's honestly a fantastic little hot hatch, although it took some money to get it as good as it should have been out of the factory, having fitted 17" OZ wheels and JCW Pro coilovers, and had it aligned. My ears don't hurt, but my left ear feels a little blocked afterwards. I was standing a meter and a half away from a machine that fits rim into the tire, while also pumping air or something. The tire was lying horizontal. Anyway it popped loudly like a gunshot. Is this normal sound? I didn't like having my ear blocked. Is this permanent damage to my ear? I didn't have my ear right close to the tire but I was standing close. Is this normal when fitting new tires?

Here goes,My 2002 Prodrive Edition V7 Bugeye STI. I've owned the car from a completely standard car and its evolved over an 8 year love/hate affair to what you see today. Built entirely as a fast road car that I can take to the track rather than a stripped out noisy road legal racer. I've spent hundreds of man hours on it and literally thousands of £££s. They just have. My 2006 e class looks like a normal size car these days. Especially the width of it. Even driving an F10 5 series feels scary on some roads, can’t imagine what the latest 5 is like to drive around the countryside.

In the past when I had a car repaired / serviced, I'd go to the garage, inspect the work and, provided it was satisfactory, I would pay via credit card knowing I had some consumer protection if the car fell apart as a result of poor workmanship.Nowadays many places seem to ask for payment by bank transfer due to high bank charges. They don't even like payment by debit card.It feels like this leaves an element of risk on my side as I could be paying for work I have not seen and not having the credit card protection. Not to mention being poor for cashflow and missing out on credit card bonuses.

Given there were only 5 new GranCabrio Trofeo’s registered in 2024 I can’t imagine Maserati are targeting much more than double figures per year for this one. Might be £50k less than a DB12 upfront but the Aston would be cheaper to lease / save the difference in depreciation which would make this a tough choice…

BMW '90 E30 320i Cabrio, M20 6기통 엔진. 주행 중 계기판의 빨간색 엔진오일 경고등이 점등되지만 엔진음과 작동은 정상. 엔진을 끄고 재시동하면 꺼졌다가 주행 중 다시 점등됨. 더운 날씨에 더 자주 발생하는 것으로 보임. 6주 전 오일 교환했으나 어떤 점도의 오일을 넣었는지 확실하지 않음.

1988 혼다 어코드(3세대) 연료 게이지가 항상 만땅을 가리키는 문제. 센더 유닛을 탱크에서 제거하여 접점 클리너로 세척함(구리색 변색 있었음). 탱크 밖에서 테스트 시 플로트를 손으로 움직이면 게이지가 정상 반응함. 센더를 탱크에 다시 설치한 후 문제 재발 - 연료 게이지가 계속 만땅을 가리키며 변화 없음.
