증상

If you take off weekends and holidays it comes in at 235 days working.Work is 98 miles away which without adding in any weekend working gives me an annual mileage of 46,060 just to get to work and back.Currently doing it in a vehicle that averages 25mpg i am in the garage every second day filling up.

Living in North London my commute is 30 - 40 mins on the tube; almost always get a seat, spend the time reading my book or catching up on something - bliss. My eldest is at uni, middle one gets to school on his own and my wife drives #3 to and from school as she's just started a new one, but will soon take the bus as she settles in.Back in the day I worked for a company who had taken over a business in the South West, and I spent 2 years "integrating" it which involved constant trips around Devon, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire from London. Over that time I covered about 35-40k each year. It was horrific - I was constantly knackered and put on loads of weight doing zero exercise and eating rubbish from motorway services. I was my local Hertz branch's best customer and they used to see me right - one time they cocked up the booking and the manager sorted me a brand new Merc S Class (the delivery driver was pulling the plastic covers off of the seats) - just the thing to show up to a small company in a farmyard lock up from "Head Office" when you are trying to close them down....
