증상

흡기 계통에서 오일 미스트가 발생하고 있으며, 파워 스티어링 근처에서 특히 발견됨. 차량은 움직일 수 있지만 흡기 또는 펌프 문제 발생 시 대응이 어려울 수 있음.

처리 내용

The car is running great and I have been enjoying the ongoing summer a lot with the roof off!I found some time to clean and treat the grey plastic at the base of the windscreen. I put the Polytrol a bit too thickly and didnt wipe it off quickly enough in the sun and it has sealed with almost a gloss like finish. It's not what I had in mind but I probably won't do anything about it. I spoke with Polytrol and they have another product called Aquanett which removes Polytol if required. Let's see how it ages. Out and about and I recently saw my old 987 and the owner had the front off changing the condensers. Looking around the car, it is still great condition and I asked him about the front grills he had fitted. It turns out they were Zunsports and I had fitted them! The memory is not what it was..A quick call to Zunsports and some haggling saw a set of 986 grills arrive the next morning and they are quite subtle and less noticeable with the colours involved. In the couple of years since I changed the condensers, it's surprising how many small leaves and small bits of rubbish find a way into the rad area. The narrow Henry attachment I use to clean them out blocked three times on one side and it was only a few months ago since I last did this..Some extra noise is all arranged and a place in Ashford is carrying out an internal box modification this week. They were not interested in doing the popular external bypass. It's a bit of a mystery to me how the standard silencer works and I look forward to seeing the internals assuming its not too rusty to work on and what they do to give the car a different tone.
