증상
주행 중 후진기어로 변속했을 때의 현상: 엔진이 역방향으로 회전하려고 하면서 엔진 스톨 발생, 타이어 잠김, 변속기에 과도한 힘이 가해짐
처리 내용
일반적으로 엔진이 정지되고 타이어가 잠기게 됩니다. 충분한 속도나 무게가 있으면 후진기어의 낮은 기어비로 인한 높은 토크가 입력축을 역회전시켜 엔진을 역방향으로 강제 회전시킬 수 있습니다. 이는 중량 트럭이나 트레일러를 견인하는 차량에서 발생할 수 있습니다. 클러치가 슬립하지 않으면서 짧은 시간에 과도한 토크가 가해지면("클러치 덤핑") 변속기가 파괴됩니다. 후진기어는 그렇게 큰 토크를 견디도록 설계되지 않았습니다.

My beloved Caterham supersport departed this morning, after 18 months a few trackdays and two Alps trips. It was amazing and I will probably miss it slightly for the roads on my doorstep but....
