프론트 휠이 양쪽 모두 약간 바깥쪽(토우인 약 0.5도)을 향하고 있어서 앞타이어 안쪽(약 1인치)이 편마모되었음. 얼라인먼트 전문가는 뒷타이어를 앞으로 옮기는 것은 주행성능에 심각한 악영향을 미친다고 지적함.
겨울타이어 시즌에 따라 연중 두 번 타이어를 교체할 때 타이어 로테이션을 수행함(방향성 타이어 여부에 따라 로테이션 방식 결정). 제거할 타이어에 위치를 표시해 다음 시즌에 로테이션을 확인함. 타이어 로테이션은 Transport Canada 및 USA DOT에서 권장함. 문제는 앞타이어의 트레드(지면과 접촉하는 부분)가 편마모되었거나 교체가 필요할 수 있다는 점이며, 이는 주행성능에 영향을 미칠 수 있음. 앞타이어를 뒤로 옮기는 것은 문제가 없음(MountainViewTire.com의 로테이션 패턴 참조).

I can’t wait until they fix the situation where you can fit tyres that have worse rolling resistance than the factory spec. ones. I think we can all agree that the current situation is untenable.
