Proves my point. You can change your silly sig to Ex-TX. They only stopped making the A110 2 months ago, so I think it still qualifies as a modern car. However, I think the sales were hit hard by the cost of lightweighting resulting in a high price. I'm sure some of the lessons could be applied elsewhere relatively cheaply.Safety accounts for part of the weight increases, but cars are also loaded up with lots of unnecessary stuff.I think the Renault 8 Gordini looks great, and is a lot smaller than I expected, which is fantastic. Plus the interior is not overloaded with stuff. It is unlikely to be made, but I hope lessons get learnt from the positive reaction to the concept and are applied to Renault products.
