Discendo Discimus said: I've read this post multiple times, and have absolutely no idea what you're going on about after the word "Corvettes". I appreciate you reading and wondering, DD. Corvettes have used run flats with great success. Porsche is very much against run flats even though they were used on the 959 - go talk to a Porsche service department if you want to check that. They will note the car comes with tire sealant, which doesn't work well. They also note that Porsche has an owners hot line for help - they do, though the drivers show up with trucks that can't accommodate a 911. Additionally, Porsche thinks the center lock wheel is great - even though one can only be removed at a dealer. So the doktors at Porsche will imperil their customers due to engineering hubris. Maybe you've read about the brands intermediate shaft issue which is evidence Porsche engineers will make critical mistakes. The hand wringing occurring right now at Porsche should focus on minimizing arrogance and offer products that are well engineered. Michael (Mikey) Leiters, the new CEO, can do this if he can overcome the company's culture.

If its styling fuses a little 6GT with a little 720S, I can't see it going far wrong.Building an SUV is a sad but perhaps necessary evil. Performance manufacturers should really look at a different set of priorities to luxury marques. A McLaren, Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, or even Bentley SUV should be something that could conceivably win a race. Make the body low and wide, and if it has to be jacked up, make it jacked up for sand dunes and mud pits, not Kensington kerbs and speedbumps. Most importantly, make it weigh less! Else there's no S about it, it's just a big fat squishy UV.
Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more. But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. And only a handful remain. It's a car I've had a yearning to own and got outbid on one at auction many years ago. More recently I contacted a seller on FB, we agreed a price and then he blocked me...So I broke the first rule of car buying and bought one s

In a multi story that I was using earlier this evening, the MOT ran out in May 24. I do find the car park ones odd, I've seen other seemingly abandoned cars in other car parks, I'd love to know the reasons.

I got the make and basic model in three - not Cardle's answer though. Ironically I intended to type in Challenger but ended up typing Charger for some reason - so I got it right by default!
