증상
스타터가 시동을 걸지 못하고 딸깍딸깍 소리만 나는 경우가 있음
처리 내용
스타터에서 딸깍거리는 소리가 난다면 보통 배터리 문제로 생각하기 쉽지만, 설명하신 증상을 보면 솔레노이드 불량일 가능성이 높습니다. 배터리 터미널의 전압을 확인하세요. 엔진 꺼진 상태에서 12.5~13VDC가 정상이며, 이보다 낮으면 배터리 문제일 수 있습니다. 솔레노이드를 분해하여 내부의 케이블 럭(#2, #4)과 와셔의 접촉면을 정리(재표면처리)하면 새로운 접촉 면이 생겨 작동할 수 있습니다. 구리 와셔를 뒤집고 스터드를 180도 회전시키는 방법도 효과가 있을 수 있으며, 교체품을 구할 때까지 임시방편으로 솔레노이드를 계속 사용할 수 있습니다. 솔레노이드는 두 가지 기능을 합니다. 첫째는 스타터 기어를 움직여 링기어와 연결되도록 위치시키는 것이고(이것이 엔진을 회전시킵니다), 둘째는 스타터 모터 자체에 전력을 공급하는 것입니다.
