The difference comes down to the driver. While automatic racing gearboxes can beat a driver when it comes to performance, for the type of vehicle you describe, a manual can perform significantly higher than an automatic if the driver knows how to use it. But then if you really wanted high acceleration you would choose a different car. Maintenance is much cheaper on manual gearboxes as they are much less complex, but if the driver doesn't know what they are doing then they can chew up clutches. Fuel economy is close between the two - am automatic can be consistent at saving fuel by short shifting in situations where acceleration is not needed, but again, a good driver can always change at the most appropriate point for what is coming, so can be in the correct great at all times - which can save mileage. TL/DR it depends. If you are experienced with a manual, get a manual.

2016 르노 마스터에서 시속 60km 근처에서 윙윙거리는 음/베어링 소음이 발생하며, 시속 70-75km에서는 음이 감소합니다. 클러치를 밟거나 중립 상태에서는 음이 낮아지지만 완전히 사라지지 않습니다. 약 10,000km 전에 기어박스 베어링을 교체했으며, 현재 소음은 수리 전과 유사합니다. 3개 정비소 방문 결과: 한 곳은 기어박스, 다른 두 곳은 기어박스나 휠 베어링이 아니고 타이어 때문일 수 있다고 함(저속에서 소음 없음). 차량을 들었을 때 바퀴를 회전시켜도 휠 베어링 소음이 없습니다.
디젤 라궁나 08년식에서 엔진에서 약간의 소음이 증가했습니다. 벨트가 돌아갈 때 엔진 최하단의 풀리(사진으로 보면 AC 컴프레서인 것 같음)가 다른 풀리들과 달리 바로 회전하지 않습니다. 언급한 추가 소음에는 지연이 있으며, 이 풀리가 회전하기 시작할 때와 같은 시점에 소음이 시작됩니다. AC 컴프레서나 파워스티어링 펌프의 베어링이 손상되었을 가능성이 있다고 생각합니다.

I need to make some gears/pinions myself. I have access to a high quality 4-axis CNC mill, but not to a lathe. I'd like to cut these gears out of flat stock (facing), rather than round (edgewise) using narrow end mills. Being able to prototype this in plastic sheets is important to me. I've found a bunch of sites that explain hobbing and that have formulas for pitch etc, but no sites that actually generate the splines for the gear teeth to turn into Gcode. Before I sit down with Mathematica and derive it from first principles, does anyone know of a good resource for this?
