That bus was not hanging about, I was very happy to sit behind it..... So how can a bus make progress but a car cant? I regularly follow Tarmac lorrys down a B-Road for part of my commute. The majority of these lads don't hang about at all and will do 60mph without issue. Quite regularly I'll be following one and look in my mirror to find we've left a stream of cars behind. I mean, if you can't keep up with a Tarmac lorry then it's definitely time to become a passenger.Part of driving pleasure is watching/following a large commercial making progress.Definitely. They can see over the hedges, and it has the advantage that if they catch a dawdler the sight of something big in the mirror is more likely to get the dawdler to speed up a bit than if you do in a car..
