2008 Fiat 500 1.2 Pop - 좌측 전면 충돌 후 차량이 시동이 걸리지 않음. 운전석 에어백, 운전석 무릎 에어백, 동승석 에어백 3개가 전개됨. 정비사가 좌측 전면 에어백 센서 교체 없이는 시동 불가 및 진단 불가라고 설명. 차량이 모든 에어백 감지를 요구하며 시동 거부. 임시로 저항을 장착하여 에어백 시스템을 속이려는 시도 중.
처리 내용
충돌로 인한 에어백 전개 후 적절한 수리: 전개된 모든 에어백(운전석, 운전석 무릎, 동승석), 점화장치(igniter), 에어백 제어 모듈을 모두 교체해야 함. 저항 등으로 시스템을 우회하는 것은 불가능하며, 이는 보험 미인정 차량이 되어 법적으로 도로 운행 불가능. 안전 및 법적 요구사항 충족을 위해 손상된 모든 에어백 관련 부품의 정규 교체만이 유일한 해결책.
