Fantastic cars and your colour combination is lovely.I've had my 2017 G31 in bluestone metallic since it was 18 months old as I genuinely can't part with it for what provides. The range is quite astounding in my 520d and while it isn't the most exciting engine in the world, I feel it provides such a good balance of what I want from a daily. Aside from the performance, the space is brilliant, its features are typically very high even in base spec (mine is a very high-spec ex-demo from Sytner Oldbury) and I find it very comfortable for the longer journeys. My only real gripe has been the rear air

However, given this has been the only major part replacement in its 63k miles so far, I can live with that!Enjoy - now very jealous of your colour choice! What were symptoms of air springs failing? They re a lot more expensive than F11Mainly a noticeable sag on one corner which doesn't resolve when the car is running. When parked, mine was sat with the nearside rear almost inside the arch which led me to have it checked out. I believe based on how they work that the problem can either be a leak from the air spring itself, or a fault with the onboard compressor which won't repressurise them when the car is running. While mine was only one side, I didn't fancy having a single unit replaced when the other side was on 45k miles of running. Was around £5k inc. labour and VAT for both rear air springs.

Writing the title made me wonder how many rear engined coupes have existed. I got 911 (obviously), some Alpines, Delorean, Fiat / Abarth versions of the 850. There must be more. But this is none of those. Its Japanese, made in the '80s and sold here in reasonable numbers. But they are now firmly in the category of 'rare but nobody gives a st'. And only a handful remain. It's a car I've had a yearning to own and got outbid on one at auction many years ago. More recently I contacted a seller on FB, we agreed a price and then he blocked me...So I broke the first rule of car buying and bought one s

I'm debating what I do with a speedo conversion. Plus point with the Lockwood is you get mph and kph whereas converting it on the CAN leaves you with mph only. Or I could just leave it in Km. I'm fairly used to doing it in my head that way around. Of course, there was an incident in the Forester where I forgot it was converted and I took it up to an indicated 100 thinking 'this feels strangely fast'
